Mobile Functional Capacity Evaluations
Our home FCE’s are tailored to provide information needed in each case, but generally includes assessment of one’s ability to engage in self-care, community activities, social outings, leisure pursuits, and work tasks. We use widely accepted methods in the field of FCE’s which provide very specific information about physical and cognitive abilities and limitations.
Half Day FCE

Full Day FCE
Involves 3-6 hours in the home setting. Typically, a one-day evaluation is best suited for someone with no limitations in positional tolerances like sitting or standing.
Two Day FCE
Involves 12-14 hours of testing over two consecutive days. This simulates the same type of schedule any worker would have. It requires them to get up early, go through a morning routine, and be ready for evaluation on multiple days, better simulating a work schedule.
Main assessment areas: Positional Tolerances, Lifting Abilities, Manual Speed and Dexterity,
Level of Effort, Cognitive/Emotional Status
A full narrative report is provided to the client that gives an accurate assessment of the client’s performance. It provides details of how the client’s injury has impacted all aspects of function, including quality of life.
